Charitable Giving 2013

The Bedford Park Festival has always raised money for local charities and the work of St Michael and All Angels, with the active support of the community and dozens of local businesses. In 2013 we raised money for the St Michael's Organ and Parish Rooms Appeal and the following three charities: The Upper Room, a centre for the homeless and disadvantaged in West London, which provides meals and assistance with the search for employment and housing; Hamlin Fistula UK, a charity which provides medical expertise, curative surgery and preventative midwifery services in Ethiopia to women suffering from birth injuries; and The Mulberry Centre, Isleworth, a drop-in centre offering information, advice and support within a non-clinical and welcoming environment to all those affected by the diagnosis of cancer.
